Works for Piano Solo, Volume 2 — Anthony Newman

The Toccata and Fugue in Eb was commissioned and dedicated to the American pianist John Orlando. The Toccata is written in a rondo form, while the Fugue is modeled on Bach's chromatic fugue in d.

The Bach Variations has received performances in NY City, The Hague, and Paris. The Holland Review commented that the work had the same quality as the great study on 'Bach' by Franz Liszt.

The 15 Preludes for Piano all have titles relating to the composer's friends and interests. For instance, 1. Judgment (Tarot), 2. Matthew (2nd son), 3. Anthony (3rd son).
